(My bit)

Hello there,
What's happenin out there?
Here, Charlotte is all better, Ive been creating a storm, again waiting for paint to dry... lol.. the story of my life, Teaching was fun last night, met two amazingly interesting women. They are parole officers who scrapbook, the girls work together and while we saw their softer side last night, they assured me they could be iron tough lol. funny isnt it, the people you meet, I was saying I hope I never need them in the professional capacity lol... unless things go very wrong with my next lotto ticket and I decide to rob a bank, well you just never know what's in store for you lol...
the girls were telling me they deal with home detention and how they have to go around to those detainees homes and breathalise them... it hadnt occured to me that people on home detention couldnt drink cos obviously you cant drink in jail... (Senior moment!)
Now this is a project I came up with after seeing a Making Memories Kit on their website, so I hope it gives you some inspiration... Ive hung it on the lounge room wall and I love it! Vintage frames and bits and pieces from the dwindling stash...
geez Im tired, I took photos last night of the class, but forgive me if I dont put them up, I need to catch some zee's. So I probably wont be back to blogland until next Tuesday, cos we're going to Granny's for Easter. Everyone whose travelling stay safe and look out for Easter bunnies on the road, remember every 2 hours to stop and run around the car... have a cuppa and a few deep breaths... Im going to the Scrap Needs crop day on Saturday... it will be great to catch up with everyone... Im planning on making myself thouroughly ill with chocolate over Easter, and I hope you do too! Please take care and I will chat soon... thanks for dropping in... Ill put the kettle on shall I?
(Claire's bit)

(Chucks bit!)
Here in all its glory
The bottom of the wall hanging
enjoy yourselves, kids, family, holidays! Cheerio!
Warmest regards from blogland,

This is my favourite page that I created at the Scrap Needs retreat...

This is the Mongolian hat page...

This is my challenge page... it was a lot of fun, but the hours I spent faffing about could have been better spent chatting to cool chicks..lol... I put WAY to much pressure on this page... freaked myself out trying to get it finished...

and this is my birthday pony from Kirst lol

I was whinging last week cos I didnt get a pony for my birthday... and lo and behold, Sparkle arrived at my house today... So naturally I saddled her up and we went for a ride this afternoon... Then we shared a few secrets and an ice cream.... so thankyou Kirst! she's a wonderful surprise birthday pressie and I hope your computer gets fixed asap!

So Im off to create some more ?stuff? Im right into competitions atm... Jo and I were unable to be separated in the Kellie 80's blog challenge... (geez those women are tough) Jo's tough cos she is as tragic as me and a worthy opponent lol, and Kel cos she came up with the hardest bloody questions... my brain is mushy right now...

and I'll show what I made last night soon... too tired to load more photos... Charlotte had a lovely BIG spew this afternoon, but after some fluids and Neurofen she's sleeping like a , well like a baby lol, poor punkin, she had a little bit of a temp... and gratefully Kelley's Miss Alicia has been cleared of any harmful medical conditions today, and Kelley created a tribute to her fears about the situation on Scrap Needs (check out the links to the gallery)... its a gorgeous heartfelt page and reminds me why 'I' scrapbook!

Good night, Im stuffed, teaching an accordian album tomorrow night, funny cheeky Wednesday night girls, the pressure is on to have the nails perfect for Pauline... and so I probably wont be back tomorrow... tra la til then... you perfect individuals!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz xxx.

This is Miss Chuckie-Doo-Dah in her Mongolian Hat (Gabu (grandad) brought this ceremonial hat home with him on one of his China trips... We thought we were quite 'special'.. More evidence of how I can see her name in lights on Broadway... Just loves a costume LOL I turned these photos into a Ghengis Charlotte page... LOL

The previous poem and a little explanation

It's basically saying that love is not a verbal experience, you cannot question why or who you love, it happens to you and this guy (who wrote the poem) could not live without his love... She gives him and is his life... Deep and I carry a copy of it in my wallet... It just means heaps to me

It was such a thrill to have a cute (tho it will NEVER happen LOL) blog comment from Sheridan, Jen Hall's mum. Sheridan is a spunk! I'd love to sit down with her one day over a coffee and get a few juicy stories out of her... she is one strong woman who, it seems to me, has really lived... thanks for dropping by! and by the way, 'that' senario will NEVER eventuate... cos it frightens the crap out of me LOL.. Two Leos ganging up on me... the ladies are so bloody smart and Im afraid of them ganging up against me... lol their Dad and I used to have great arguments (sorry, frank & open discussions) I loved these tough conversations we used to have... he used to amaze me with his general knowledge and how he could debate a topic... and he's a Leo! - can you imagine what its going to be like for me when the ladies hit 15 hell @ 13!!!.. well we wont worry about that today Scarlett...

anyway having a shocker with my win tally, tho I did win $25 last Saturday Lotto. Ive been scrapping heaps.. but as usual Im waiting for paint to dry.. Ill put em up when their done. Teaching tomorrow night at LSS... so I need to do a bit to get ready for it... Oh and I forgot to put up here my retreat pages .. so Ill do them too...

I love the addition of music to the old bloggaroonie...

It warm the cockles of my heart to think chicks I love come and visit here to have a gander at what we've been up to...

so hug ya loved ones and ignore the rest of em

Love ya good things!

The universe gave me the following poem in high school, thats why Ive changed my blog name... its the way love was meant to be... its beautiful...

Because She Would Ask Me Why I Loved Her

If questioning would make us wise

No eyes would ever gaze in eyes;
If all our tale were told in speech
No mouths would wander each to each.

Were spirits free from mortal mesh
And love not bound in hearts of flesh
No aching breasts would yearn to meet
And find their ecstasy complete.

For who is there that lives and knows
The secret powers by which he grows?
Were knowledge all, what were our need
To thrill and faint and sweetly bleed?

Then seek not, sweet, the "If" and "Why"
I love you now until I die.
For I must love because I live
And life in me is what you give.

Christopher John Brennan

Im as mad as Hell & I'm not going to take it anymore!

OK When I said I cleaned the house... well I neglected to say "all except the scrap room". I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore!... I’ve had it up to pussy's bow with looking at freaky-clean organised, stuffed to the rafters, not a paperclip-out-of-place scrap rooms... Now I’m one of the lucky ones who can afford the luxury of a whole room (the master bedroom, no less! - its huge! but it's also cold in Winter and hot in Summer lol and therefore not conducive for restful slumber lol) ... but I have a rather meaty bone to pick with all the anal neat freaks out there...

I was over at the effers blog tonight and I decided, that’s it! I’m taking pics of my scrap room... to get it off my tiny chest! However, there's a catch,

"My name is Libby Morris and I’m a scrap-pig!"
"Hello Libby"

...take that as your warning! All the anal neat freaks should look away now!... stop reading! Place your mouse to one side... close the browser, have a cup of camomile tea, and come back in early May! lol

I scrap amongst the most ridiculous mess you have possibly ever seen... and I love it! No gorgeous teak floor to ceiling armoire for this little black duck... Give me a square of carpet and I give you my filing cabinet... most of my stuff is on the floor, where I like it! I can get up and put my hand to any little thing I may need!

So I guess what I’m saying is I’m out of the closet... and all over the floor lol and here are the pics to prove it. I don’t clean up after every project either...

and that noise ladies and gentlemen, was the audible gasp of Miss Kellie C and a thousand like her...lol

It's very LIBerating to post "my scrap space" pics here.. The secret's out!... You see, unless I was as financially secure as Oprah, I feel that spending money on scrapping 'furniture' is like 'fucking for virginity'... - totally pointless... when I’m going to 'place' things on the floor anyway. If I cant see it... I wouldn’t be pushed to use it. So all my cupboards would have no doors and then I can’t see the bloody point of having a cupboard.

Although I love to potter through Freedom and Ikea... I wouldn’t go letting any of their blonde-wood, not-assembled, making some Nord filthy-stinking rich, clever, {did I mention not-assembled} cupboards and natty filing cabinets through my scrap room door. (I might add that other rooms of the house would warmly welcome such aforementioned items) lol

So suffice to say here I am, bared to the world as a newborn to a Doctors slap.

Scoff, laugh, titter, think of me what you will, but its the truth.

I have the courage of my convictions, and I aint gonna clean my room!

*Folds arms and pokes out tongue*

Miss Megan (Of the perky breasts) dared us on Scrap Needs to move out of our comfort zone, you know, if you always use flowers, dont! ... so here is my challenge entry... cos Ive never done a heritage page, and well this is my effort.. when I look at it now I reckon the photo should have been sepia not B&W, but its as heritage as I get at the moment... I liked the boundary push and Im going to do some more 'heritage'. (the photo of the page is a little (?Little???) wonky, sorry about that)

Hmmm well now I can start the new week with a clear conscience and a cleanish home... {tongue is placed firmly in cheek}

Hope all had a great weekend! Im crossing my fingers I win Miss Julies Easter bunny, the scrap needs challenge and Kellie's 80's challenge and the footy tipping ... but apparently you can't win them all... you CAN however give it a
RED HOT GO!

Happy thoughts to all of you who are going through some difficult times... and bubbles of happy sunshine to all of you.

with much love

Hope everyone's having a great weekend... we are... here's a challenge page from the Scrap Needs cybercrop last night... was a hoot... and the layouts are amazing.. what a talented bunch we are... Camera battery needs charging but I promise more photos tomorrow... feeling very smug right now.. house is so clean you could eat in it! lol Ive been Autunm cleaning, chucking out crap like huge weird shaped pieces of styrofoam... now obviously ?something? came in the styrofoam... but maybe the something has been thrown out too?.. so my bin is chockas and I feel NEW! Took a heap of stuff to St Vinnies... my bathroom has been scrubbed within an inch of its life and I think the bleach/ajax fumes made me high enough to Autunm clean the rest of the house lol...

So I sit here smug and satisfied, the only thing that terrifies me at the present moment is the lingering feeling Ive gone VERY badly once again in the footy tipping lol... Oh and hearty congrats to the connections of Miss Finland who outshone the boys to win the AAMI Golden Slipper today...

and what a brilliant filly is Serenade Rose (obviously at left) who won the Arrowfield Stakes today, (look out for her, she's in the Oaks) my best mate Jase foaled down and prepped Rosey for Brooklyn Lodge and I was lucky enough to have seen her as she was being prepped for Inglis Easter Yearling sale ($400,000) on the farm while I was working there... she was tiny and very backward, just goes to show what someone believing in you can do... Rosey's mum is Rose Of Tralee, a truely gracious and gorgeous mare. Beautiful type and great mover... she's worth a fortune now... so I raise my coffee to ya Rosey... Jase is very proud!

tomorrow ...

I took these photos of shirts in Big W, ok ok... Im cheap, -instead of buying them (I have too many clothes Ive bought for scrapspiration lol) I took pics of them, now that would have been hard to explain to store security... "Have you had you medication today Ms Morris?"

Anyone else able to give me a little help... Id love to update my banner with something more creative.. as Im someone who took 3 months to nut out by myself, how to edit the 'blogs I read' links (STOP LAUGHING!) I now know how easy it is... (rolls eyes) I love Medium (Id love to be a medium lol not in the Jan sense or the sixth sense..lol.. just the medium instead of the XXXXXXL lol..) so Im watching Medium and Im gonna do a bit more scrapping.. Im doing the Megan C (she of the perky breasts) challenge and I will show soon... but back to the banner! I need help.. Ive got Photoshop but I dont know how to link.. any help would be greatly rewarded! well greatly RAK'ed

cheers wonder women!

ps Claire loves to create as well! pthft!

Hey everyone,

Im warning you now! There's a few photos here lol ...
I love this shot.. Claire and her first sparkler.. this is the night of my birthday... It was a great party with Mum, Dad, the ladies and my aunt Stevie... great food, lots of laughs and about 10 packets of sparklers.. the girls had a ball

I totally want you to go out right now, and buy some sparklers and try night shots, you can write your name and draw pictures.. such good clean fun!

When the ladies were born mum bought two David Austen rose bushes and planted them out in her front yard... a Charlotte rose and a Claire rose.. this is Doo Dah Charlotte with one of her roses... happy days! Im sure no one can tell I cut their fringes myself... pfft

Now I have small issewes with all you ladies who love a rebel.. esp those who dont know how to use em... yes Im madly jealous... yes I want a Canon 5D but my digi Kodak does do a mighty macro.. Im so proud of my camera... 6.1 megs and such an faithful girl... I thought Id show off some of my garden shots (Plumbago at left) and some of the gorgeous flowers Mel Megan and Regina sent me while I was in hospital... they were stunning and lasted so long...

Close up of David Austen Charlotte... ohhhhh!

Now this is at Mums... I just had to show you my fencing team...lol

and Claire latest fetish... wearing pegs.. what a fashion plate! When she goes outside she has to have her pegs on... some women wont go out without makeup.. not the bear.. no way! Its pegs on your shirt or nothing... I dare you to post on your blogs a photo of you out and about wearing pegs lol

'Walworth Fabio' (the most beautiful man in the cosmos) lol he thinks so... mums pony stallion, he's a sweetie, looks a bit rough there, but the ladies are still a bit wary of Fab... the other ponies are cool, but Fab's is a bit too forward for them.. he's always looking in pockets for treats lol

Macro in the afternoon (sounds like a Whitlam's song lol) of the bunch of flowers...

hey that Gerbera is a top shot if I do say so myself.. Ive printed some out on glossy at 6 by 8 and Ive gotta say they are freaking awesome!

Lillium, how exotic!

Now this one was good enough for anyone... oh and by the way you can all stop emailing me to take pics of your families (roflmao - no ones emailing me)

Pollen ... its bee food!

Um... Did I mention the pink Gerbera?...

The actual bunch of lovelies... I have so much stuff to do so Im off to do it ... have a great night all..

Im doing Kellie's challenge ... see her blog above... cool 80's reminiscing

Geez its hard to know what to write as a greeting...
Salutations!
Its been a HUGE few weeks... first the retreat (which was amazing) I should have spent less time scrapping and more time introducing myself to the other chicks... but it was a truely specacular retreat... I won the name tage thingy... Ange won the challenge... which was so well deserved and and she was 'gracious' in her win lol I was so jealous (hence her dig lol) about Jen winning the raffle lol... it hurt more cos the tickets were only a few number from mine... Im over it now tho lol... Kelley won a mag and Sara won a hangover lol Our table truely was a winners circle! Scrap Needs Kell's a bloody legend and while we're on the subject of legends... can I just say Miss Jane is one of the toppest chicks Ive ever met... what a champion! What a room-mate! What a fantastic fun sheila... thanks for the card and rak too... Reg was a scream (hope ya jugs are feelin better) lol Kelley was a hoot, when she wasnt up to her elbows in green paint and Sara kept us all going with lollies, chocolate, fantastic inspiration and fun. Kelley and I went surfing lol great photos, great afternoon at Shelley beach... look out Rachel Greig! I wish the retreat had been a week long!

Now quick update on health matters!
. My gall bladder is gone gone gone! None too soon btw! In the last two weeks Ive been the tiredest, sorest, grumpiest, most bored, frustrated and miserable than I have been in a long time... nothing went to plan... but all's well now, Ive had no real health problems before and I made the most annoying, painful patient... enough about all this crap... 3 of the sweetest, most adorable bubbles of love sent me some flowers while I was in hospital... so thankyou Mel, Megan & DT Regina... Loib loved them and took about 50 photos of them... Ive blown up the photos and will scrap them... Seriously girls those flowers made my mouth water... they looked like about $500 worth... Beautiful orange chilli's, about 10 exotic lillums (I LOVE LILLUMS) singapore orchids, and gerberas (whose photos are amazing)

So I included a few random shots and comments... plus my girls holding one of the lillums.. that photo shoot was fun... and frightening... Claire just wanted to rip the petals apart... it was hard to watch such a beautiful natural thing torn asunder by someone you love... Im sure there's a metaphor there ...

The delightful Jan and DT Regina 'relaxing' in the sumptuous foyer of the Apollo Resort...

(Im in love with Jan... but after the retreat I know there's a few of us in the same boat)

Here Reggie looks Super Glam, I look suspisciously insane, and Jane looks like she has a secret... arent they cute?

I always knew Reggie had a halo... Isnt she a rock-star?

Oh look Mummy...

TWINS!

Why oh why? Im begining to think maybe I am certifiable...

the delightful Mrs Hall... isnt she cute... you could just eat her with a spoon... I have appologised profusely for not getting back to her while I was at Mums... but I will do it again... sorry Mrs Hall, and can I just say to anyone else... GET YOUR ARSE TO HER BLOG! She has had so much great stuff happening, she must be farting fairies at the moment... so huge standing ovations to you! Love ya!

OK a picture says 1000 words... Chris is giggling, Fee is non-believing, look at the way she's suspisciously lookin at the hair! lol and Miss Kelley is having a demon moment! lol I could have cut that out... coulda shoulda didna! hahahah *evil laugh* hey I kept my chins in! look at that... more chins than a Chinese phone book... tee hee

Miss Chris sent me a fab pic of us together... thanks Miss Chris... love you to pieces.. love the photos on your blog of your cute kids too... the latest FK has a gorgeous, meaningful page with a junior Millar! Check it out!

Look at this athletic specimen... Go Kelley!

I love this kid! huge big kisses doo dah!

Hey Bear! whatcha thinkin?
