Im a 34 year old Mum of 2 year old twin girls, Claire & Charlotte. We live in the Hunter Valley, NSW and love to giggle. I am addicted to everyday art and that helps me scrapbook our lives. Our motto... "Get amongst it". I have just been announced as a Scrapbooking Memories Master, what a thrill!

Hey my page NAHM is going to be published in For Keeps #44

At about 3pm was your world shattered by a blood-curdling squeal? Sorry...

I found the following on Wendy Smedleys blog

Why I Blog, part one

Why I Blog

I have been reading a
book called, Who Let The Blogs Out?, by Biz Stone.
He discusses the reasons people blog— some of his most compelling reasons are…
“Peer-to-peer publishing
-Future of our connected lives (Lib loves this one)
-Flexible way for people to communicate that
which they care about with networks of friends
-Democratic self-expression
-Promote a group or culture”
So I have yet another blog ‘goal’ I want to write a mission
statement for my blog.
I will leave this as a permanent link so people can understand why I choose to blog-
Plus it will remind me if I forget- More coming…

Now I challenge you to a statement-off.. no prizes just do it ok!

Did I happen to casually mention my page is being published? Not sure... couldnt remember... silly old me lol

Now the ladies and my good self, pottered up to Club MacQuarie Argenton to see the ladies.. Miss Ange and the gorgeous Grace were arriving as we did and it was great to see everyone... Kelley gave me this cute, amazingly decorated bin (there is so much work in decorating it) thanks Kelley! xxx)
...sorry about the dodgy pics

and the fabulous Mrs Hall gave me her swap page of Chuck....

Chucks loves it... Im going to find a frame and hang it over her cot... Mrs Hall is an amazing woman with an amazing studio.. and I know you all go there anyway but incase there is one of you in the dark click here to visit her blog.... thanks Mrs Hall I am truely indebted to you for the swap page. Hey Miss 'e' has made me win her freestyle book! tee hee funny that with time, good can come from such a catastrophic event lol (not in the serious sense of the word... it just made me too embaressed to leave the house for a few days) I still wander around in the nick tho.. so no lessons learned lol

now what to tell... Mumma and the Papa have gorne to Miss Sally's wedding and so I cant go to Jen's scrap night tonight.. right about now (the funk soul brother.. sorry Fatboy Slim moment) the girls will be laffin it up eating junk and giggling their chi chi's off.. bugger Im here abloggin... *sigh*

I am gonna try to get to the crop day at Club Mac tomorrow to have lunch with the girls.. last get together before the retreat lol I need my Kell fix as I havnt been stalking her lately *laughs nervously behind her hand*

what news? I got my eyebrow jewelery "Miss Sara!" ... its a daisy with pink crystals as the petals ... its noice.. its unewesual... its different.
This is a photo of my dear shiny blue mower, and the masochistic way in which I must keep it mine all mine.

Regina has all these great random shots of 'art' around the home.. I think its a brilliant idea.. so do it... and Regina I dont know what to say other than 'crap poo shit bum bugger bitch bastard' ... repeat the aforementioned until you feel better... I hope it's soon (turn that frown upside down, put on a hap hap happy face, and whistle a happy tune) when youre thru with that you'll forget what it was that was getting you downI call this one "Magpie poo atop driveway cement with leaf" tee hee one more..this one is "tubby shrubby" as my sphagnum moss planter has 'grown comfortable' with its surrounding metal ... ah ya gotta love a bit of give

may I leave you with this?....

They sicken of the calm, who knew the storm. - Dorothy Parker

& perhaps this also...

There is no excellent beauty that
hath not some strangeness in the proportion -Sir Francis Bacon (1561 – 1626)

which leads beautifully on to a wise woman...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
And it may be necessary
From time to time to give a stupid
Or misinformed beholder a black eye -Miss Piggy

couldnt have said it better myself..

Apparently dragonfruit is a cactus, bit like prickly pear and anyway should have bought some of the relish just to say I had tried it... I didnt mybe next month.. Did you know dragonfruit is $30/kilo those dragons must be raking it in!
